Progress? I suppose so, the SCROLL seen above under Gods Eagle Nest is the method used to record words and hand drawn pictures during the time of Jesus. In fact a picture of a Scroll like this one shows Jesus reading in the Jewish Synagog. The subject of Jesus reading, (a Jewish Synagog custom,) was very controversial, bordering on MOST listening, as heresy.
INDICATIVE of how "time" changes CONSTANTLY, as in this example, Jesus "time" had not come. TIME??- I refer to Jesus death on a Roman cross at Golgatha. An innocent man-God attoning by death for the sin of man, before, during and in the future without end.
Today and in the centuries to come, CHANGE is and would be obvious. Little need to explain the changes, BUT if one example could be made, the latest "wireless" printer, accomplishing in the "twink" of an eye, words and pictures in a time frame so far advanced the original "Scroll writer" would pass out with envy!
YET, we worship Jesus, God, The Holy Spirit, to this day and beyond. All the while sinning at will, repenting at leisure... THE SAME SHAMELESS ATTITUDE NOW AS WHEN Jesus walked this earth!
Some things CHANGE somethings stay the SAME! - REMEMBER, today as in cunturies past, WE CONTROL our destiny, RIGHT OR WRONG!! Remember one other thing; PUNISHMENT: It has been DEFINED IN REVELATIONS after the horrendous death of Jesus.
SIMPLE, WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN OR TO sATANS OTHER PLACE, HELL? THE RULES HAVE BEEN LAID OUT FOR US. All we need do is follow them.
A BULLET has one basic task to perform. WE have latitude to refuse the word of God. - THERE ARE SOME PRETTY SIGNIFICANT RULES TO FOLLOW if we want to follow God. IF WE DON'T, THE "lAKE OF FIRE" becons, satans place for those who refuse belief in the Lord.
Know something? - Read Revelations in the Bible, in fact the entire Bible just lays out the ground rules for believers and un-believers. SIMPLE. MAKE YOUR CHOICE. The Bible DOES show the layman which place he or she may go. God made us all, he knows the EXACT number of hairs on our head. No fooling this guy! ONE THING, God WILL KNOW YOUR CHOICE AND YOUR DESTINATION IS HELL, OR HEAVEN PLAIN AND SIMPLE.
